Using GoToConnect App to make/receive calls on the district phone system

As you may know, our district phone system is cloud-based. This means faculty and staff can continue to make/receive calls using your district-issued phone number/extension as long as you are connected to the internet. You have the OPTION to use the district phone system while you are working remotely. One benefit of doing so is that you can make calls without exposing your home or cellular phone number. Here's how you can get started:

  1. Self-Register for a GoToConnect account at https://www.onjive.com/register.  Be sure to enter your @smusd.us email address in Business Email Address and create a password. Click Register. Please check your e-mail to confirm and activate your new GoToConnect account.
  2. Install the GoToConnect App onto your smartphone (iPhone or Android). Once installed, log in with the GoToConnect account you created.
